Privacy Notice: Lync
Lync digital business cards and branch pages (lync.tarfeehhub.com) · Arabian Entertainment Co. Ltd. (Tarfeeh)
This notice explains what personal information Lync keeps and processes, why, and what your rights are. Lync is the company’s system for digital business cards, branch pages and QR links. It covers three groups of people: staff who have a business card, people who open a card or a branch page, and the staff who manage Lync.
Who is responsible
Arabian Entertainment Co. Ltd. (Tarfeeh), Prince Sultan Street, Jeddah, P.O. Box 51994, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for your information in Lync. Questions: infotarfeeh@tarfeehksa.com, +966 920029933.
If you have a business card
What we keep: your name (English and Arabic), job title, department, brand, and the details you chose to give for your card: work email, mobile number, WhatsApp number, LinkedIn page, address, a short bio and a photo. We also count how many times your card has been opened. This is a number only; it does not say who opened it.
Why: your card exists to be shared. You supplied these details so that people you meet can contact you, and they are published on your card for that purpose. This is the company’s legitimate interest in giving its staff business cards. If you want a detail removed from your card, ask and it will be removed.
We do not keep your ID or Iqama number, passport, salary or bank details in Lync.
If you open a card or a branch page
- These pages have no sign-in and no forms, and they do not ask you for any information.
- They set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.
- They have no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- When you open a page, our hosting providers (Vercel for the page, Supabase for its photos) receive your device’s network (IP) address, the type of browser you use, the page you asked for and the time. This is used only to deliver the page and keep the system secure, and it is kept in their records for a short time.
- “Save Contact” saves the card to your own phone. The call, WhatsApp and email buttons open your own apps. Lync does not see what you do there.
If you manage Lync
We keep your work email address, your role, sign-in security information (your password only in scrambled form, and your two-factor setup), the times you sign in, and your device’s network (IP) address for each signed-in session. We also keep a record of exports, deletions and archives: who did it, and when.
Who can see it
Anyone you give your card to, or who scans its QR code, can see what is on your card. Only staff who manage Lync can see the records behind it. The companies that host Lync (Supabase and Vercel) process the information for us under contract and may not use it for anything else. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else, unless Saudi law requires it (for example a request from a court or a government authority).
No artificial intelligence (AI) is used on any information about you.
Where it is kept
On secure servers in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Pages are delivered from the location in Vercel’s network nearest to the person opening them, which may be outside Saudi Arabia.
How long
When you leave the company, your card is archived and taken down. Thirty days later your contact details and photo are deleted automatically. Your remaining record (name and job title) is deleted 12 months after you leave.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information Lync holds about you, ask for mistakes to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where the company does not need to keep it. Contact infotarfeeh@tarfeehksa.com. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is published on this page with a new version number and date. Staff who manage Lync are asked to read and confirm each new version.
